Timeless
Paul Christianson began playing piano at the age of eight, encouraged by his family who was musically active in church and school. In college, Paul received accolades and encouragement from faculty and students alike while pursuing a Bachelor's degree at Nazarene College in 1986. In 1988 he completed his Master's from the University of Idaho, winning the Idaho Music Teacher's Association of Collegiate Artists piano competition in 1987. Currently, Paul continues in his pursuit of musical excellence as a doctoral candidate in Piano Performance at the University of Georgia while sharing his talents as a Music Professor at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. In 1987, Paul began composing very simple pieces to assist students he was working with as a teaching assistant while at the University of Idaho. Eventually, he composed and recorded on tape more complex pieces for interested friends and quickly received requests for copies of the tape from people he had never met! In the summer of '87, Paul wrote "Nocturne", an award-winning piece published in "College Musician". This lead to the eventual recording of his first title, "Rain On The Lake", and his much-awaited "Timeless". In August of 1995, "Timeless" was featured by Lifedance Music Distributors.Paul's music is soothing, wonderfully complex and compelling, a joy to listen to. His expertise and considerable talent are delight to listener's of all ages
